Aisling Bea

Aisling is an Irish-born comedian who has been around for a long time. She was born in Kildare, Ireland, on 16th March 1984. Bea has appeared on QI together with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984), better known as Aisling Bea, is an Irish comedian and actress from Ireland. Following appearances in bits in several Irish and British television shows since 2009 Bea started her stand-up comedian in 2011. She was already regularly being featured on sketch comedy programs and sitcoms. When she was awarded an award at Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011, Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011 and then became a regular on various panels, and is currently a regular. She was captain of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team from 2016-2017 and is regularly a contestant on the spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. The parents of her include Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan. She has a younger sister, Sinead. She was in 2012 the second female to receive the So You think That You're Funny award. Her surname honors the memory of her late father. Aisling Claiodhnadhs Sullivan was born 16 March 1984 from Kildare, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian, an equine vet, who committed suicide at the age of three when Bea reached the age of three, was a victim of self-harm. The news of his suicide only after 13 years old. In honor of her dad, she adopted the stage-name Bea and in 2017 published an article on suicides that affected her family members for The Guardian. Bea's mom Helen She is a jockey-trainer and former pro jockey, was the one responsible for the care of her daughter as well as Sinead. Their family was enthralled by races and horses. Bea was a guide for her family's involvement at the Irish National Stud in her beginning days. However, she knew it wasn't something she wanted to do as a profession and preferred doing.
